Is this written from a personal experience ? - I'm always curious to know the origin of particular poems and/or what experience prompted the words.

Sometimes we can't all see what others see.
I remember wanting to protect my friends from bad romantic situations (come to think of it, I guess I still do) and them never listening to the advice.
People always seem most eager to get into the relationships that they know aren't going to be any good for them.
I learned to be a good shoulder to cry on and not judge.
Why? Because I did the same stupid thing myself. Often.
